NantwichTown 1 v 0 Broadheath Central
Nantwich Town as the 13s won the County Cup Final 1-0 against Broadheath Central from the Timperley League, it was a hard fought match against a side that haven`t lost for about 3 years, the game was decided by a penalty taken by Josh Glover on the 61st minute, in the 19 years the cup has been running only Crewe Railway ( AKA Crewe Alexandra) in 1989 and ourlelves now are the only two sides from the area to win this cup, as it was also the Tesco Cup yesterday, this is the first year Tesco have run this cup in conjunction with the County Cup we are the first winners of the cup, this now pushes us forward for the regional cup to be played in Manchester, should we get through that the next round is at the Britania Stadium with the final stage being played at the Reebok Stadium in the nationals, so lets keep our fingers crossed for the boys and Nantwich
