Nantwich despite this result have begun to believe in themselves.Grange took an early lead after a defensive error.A further error in the second half and the game looked beyond Nantwich.Despite the setback Nantwich showed lots of steel.Tired Nantwich legs allowed a strong Grange side to push forward and score twice more.

U13's Nantwich Town 6-1 West Kirby Wasps
Pride of place must go to our U13'S ('A' team) who play in the Cheadle &
District League, they won 6-1 to reach the final of the Cheshire FA Minor
Cup for U13'S teams.
In a sparking semi-final performance against Wirral side West Kirby Wasps
they thoroughly deserved their 6-1 victory.
Scorers were Sam Wakefield who helped himself to a hat-trick, Josh Lane who
bagged 2 goals and who was a constant threat with his darting runs and Tom
Wakefield with the other goal in what was a fine overall team preformance.
I understand they are the first Junior team from our area (Borough of Crewe
& Nantwich) to ever reach the final of the Cheshire U13'S Cup which is a
magnificent achievement by them.

Cheadle & District U13's Challenge Trophy Semi final
Roe Lane Colts 2 v 3 NANTWICH TOWN
Nantwich took an early lead which they held until half time.Roe Lane came back strongly in the second half aided by a strong wind on an energy sapping pitch.Nantwich conceded two second half goals but with ten minutes remaining Sam Wakefield scored an equalizer to take the game into extra time.With 5 minutes of the second period of extra time remaining Tom Wakefield scored to put us through to our second final in the space of two week’s.

Audley 2 v 6 NANTWICH TOWN
A fine victory against a hard working Audley side.Nantwich were dominant in the early stages of the second half with two well taken goals from Liam Clews followed by a long range shot from Nathan Dixon before Audley grabbed a second goal.Ben Williams wrapped it up for Nantwich with a penalty after being hauled down in the box.

Richard Ilgmann missed chances to put game out of reach.Despite taking lead Wedgwood came back to equalize but with 30 seconds remaining Wedgwood scrambled in the winner.

An own goal put the away team ahead before Adam Newton hit back to equalize.Wolstanton went ahead again to make it 1 – 2 at half time.Jack Allman equalized from a corner before Chris Jackson made it 3 – 2.Wolstanton hit back to equalize then with 1 minute to go a corner from Matt Hubbard was punched into the net by their ‘keeper for an own goal and give us the 4 – 3 win.This win leaves us in 3 cup competitions,the semi final of the Crewe Challenge Cup against our other NTFC Under 18’s plus the semi final of the league cup where we play Leek Town.
