Nantwich Town Football Club have pleasure in announcing the following awards made by the UniBond Football League.
UniBond League First Division South.’September Team of the Month’ award to NANTWICH TOWN. This award (6 bottles of champagne) to be presented at the Nantwich Town v Colwyn Bay league match on Saturday 13th October.
UniBond League First Division South. ‘Fair Play Award for September’.NANTWICH TOWN. During the month Nantwich incurred a single caution over 4 league games.
UniBond League First Division South. ‘Safe Hands award for September’.Rob Hackney of Nantwich Town. Rob will receive a top of the range pair of goalkeeping gloves from UniBond Football League preferred kit suppliers Macron .
Official opening of The Weaver Stadium - 11th October 2007
Nantwich Town Football Club will officially opened the £4 million Weaver Stadium on Wednesday 10th October 2007. Sir Trevor Brooking, FA’s Director of Football Development, performed the opening ceremony.
Sir Trevor observed junior coaching sessions on the club’s 3rd generation synthetic pitch and met with club officials and local dignitaries.

Youth players selection for Cheshire FA 30/09/2007
Nantwich Town Football Club have pleasure in announcing that three of their Under 17’s players have been selected to represent the Cheshire County Football Association in the FA County Youth Cup. Kelvin Mellor, Josh Hancock and Nathan Southern, were selected after being watched recently in a Crewe & District FA game.
They will join the squad for a match against the Northumberland FA at Macclesfield Town’s Moss Rose Stadium on Saturday 6th October 2007 Kick off 2.00pm.
