Goalkeeper’s Course (27 06 2007)

Nantwich Town Football Club have arranged a goalkeeper’s course. The course will be held on a weekly basis commencing on Thursday 5th of July 2007. The course is open to all interested parties between the ages of 6 – 18 years. Each session will be of one hour duration commencing at 7pm.

Fixtures 2007-2008 18/06/2007

Many supporters have been contacting the league (Unibond) website asking when the 2007-2008 fixtures will be published. Several UniBond clubs have stated that they wish to be paired for fixture purposes with clubs playing in the Conference National and North.

Until the Conference advise the league of the home/away sequences of these paired clubs the UniBond League will not be working on their fixture list for next season. If, as happened last season, the Conference fixtures are delayed beyond the end of June the UniBond League will press ahead with the fixtures without this information. The exact date of the publication of our 2007-2008 fixtures will be published on the website as soon as it is known.

FOOTBALL TRIALS for U8 to U16 for next season

Over the next four weeks Nantwich Town Football Club will be holding trials for age groups Under 8  to Under 16 years.
Applications for the trials are now open and a warm welcome awaits   interested parties.
The trials will be held at Malbank School Playing Fields, Water Lode, Nantwich Cheshire.

Please Note: The aforementioned age groups are applicable to season 2007 / 2008.

Dates and times are as follows:-

Under 8’s – Under 10’s. Every Saturday morning at the Community Sessions. 9.30am – 11.00am.

Sunday 24th June.2007.
Under 11’s. 10.00am - 12.00pm.
Under 13’s.  1.00pm  -   3.00pm.

Sunday 1st July.2007.
Under 12’s. 10.00am - 12.00pm

Fire Damage to the New 3rd Gen Astro Turf 5/06/07

The driver of the machine that caught fire whilst brushing rubber granules into the astro turf had a narrow escape. He was treated at Leighton Hospital for smoke inhalation but has now been released.

Currently there is no news as to when the astro turf damage will be replaced but has come just at a time when the stadium is in the final stages of completion
